Futian will promote key projects in the areas of digital power grid, advanced nuclear energy, next-generation photovoltaics, natural gas, integrated energy services, advanced energy storage, and near-zero carbon.

Efforts will be made to achieve breakthroughs in the technologies of reliable distribution networks, flexible photovoltaic storage and building-integrated photovoltaics.

The district will help drive the construction of intelligent power grids in Shenzhen, key regional smart energy projects and Antuo Mountain zero-carbon demonstration projects. Futian will support the development of the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone, the central area, Meilin-Caitian area and Antuo Mountain area.

Futian  will promote the development of the new energy industry in the district to become a billion-dollar industrial cluster with strong collaborative innovation, intelligent manufacturing development and brand influence.
