  Futian has witnessed a rapid development of education and now enjoys a modern education

system. There are 25 middle schools, and 68 primary schools in Futian. There are also 102 kindergartens, a sub-school of Radio & TV University，and 64 adult education organizations. Futian has formed a education structure of coordinated development between pre-school education, basic education, vocational training, adult education and high education, and there is a coexistence of different school-running systems including state-owned scools, schools owned by the government but run by non-governmental sectors, and schools totally run by non-governmental sectors. In 2002, Futian won the title of “Advanced Education District in Guangdong Province”.
