The Xiangmihu Subdistrict Office teamed with the Korean Chamber of Commerce to hold an arts festival to celebrate the International Children's Day at the Shenzhen Children's Park on June 1, 2022.

The event was divided into three parts: the "Childhood in Painting" art exhibition, the "Children's Dream of Xiangmihu" show and the "Animal Carnival" children's enlightenment concert.

Families in the subdistrict were treated to an audio-visual feast one after another, where traditional culture and international horizons mingled.

At the art exhibition, one could appreciate the infinite creativity shown in the paintings of Chinese and foreign children who lived in the subdistrict, ranging from imagination of future urban buildings to novel encore of traditional stories, from still life sketches in oil paintings to sketches of cartoon characters.

The performers of the show were also Chinese and foreign children who lived in the subdistrict. They performed band music, taekwondo, dance, vocal music and verbal arts. The wonderful performances draw a large crowd of visitors. A teenage band rocked the house and climaxed the show. The taekwondo show of Chinese and Korean teenagers demonstrated tenacity and got a big round of applause.

The children's enlightenment concert was so creative that the venue was packed with people. The orchestra played the sounds of the animals familiar to children, which greatly intrigued the audience who listened with their ears to a symphony of animals.

The event benefited thousands of residents in the subdistrict. Not only did it bring the joyful atmosphere of the festival to the children, but also convey the beautiful thoughts of patriotism, gratitude to parents and optimism for the future through the literary works.
