A system providing intelligent parking solutions developed by a Shenzhen high-tech company will be used in 100 counties (districts), according to a contract signing ceremony Tuesday.

Shenzhen JSA Intelligent System Co. Ltd., a Futian District-based national high-tech enterprise, developed an “ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) + AI Video Identification + Intelligent Parking” system, an unmanned urban parking management and intelligent charging solution. This will greatly improve parking space utilization and parking efficiency.

Based on an ETC system, the solution connects parking information across the city and promotes parking resources sharing and rapid supply-demand matching. In the future, the solution will cover all parking scenarios, including those at the airports, railway stations and high-speed railway stations; as well as other places like supermarkets, hospitals, colleges, universities, residential compounds and roadsides, as part of the effort to achieve integrated management of urban parking.

During the ceremony, banks and financial institutions, supply chain corporations and JSA’s industrial partners signed deals for investments of 100 million yuan (US$15.64 million) in each of the 100 selected counties (districts), which is expected to significantly improve the efficiency of parking fee charging and offer more convenience to residents.

As one of the first high-tech enterprises which introduced and developed intelligent management systems in the country, JSA has created four “firsts in China,” namely the first access control system, the first intelligent parking lot, the first robotic expressway intelligent card issuing system and the first digital city management system.
