1 Implement national, provincial, and municipal laws, regulations, and policies on urban management, and in conjunction with actual conditions, formulate detailed implementation rules, work objectives, and plans for all relevant aspects of the district for implementation upon approval.

2 Undertake urban management tasks within the jurisdiction, organize major urban management activities and operations throughout the district.

3 Develop urban management goals and plans and oversee their implementation.

4 Responsible for the construction, management, training, assessment, exchange, and appointment/dismissal of the bureau's workforce according to management authority.

5 Coordinate with relevant departments to improve urban management work.

6 Handle other matters assigned by the CPC Futian district committee, Futian district government, and higher-level departments.
