(1) Oversee the planning, construction and management of  key areas, including Xiangmihu New Financial Center, Futian CBD and the Central Park Surrounding Vitality Circle.

(2) Liaise with the municipal headquarters for key area development, implement municipal deployment and assessment tasks, and manage daily affairs of the Xiangmihu-Antuoshan Branch Headquarters and Futian District Shantytown Renovation Project Headquarters.

(3) Research development plans, annual schemes and special funds for key areas, and propose policy recommendations with relevant departments. Establish project databases, arrange construction schedules, advance major projects. Supervise and upgrade project construction quality in coordination with relevant departments.

(4) Implement the municipal chief designer mechanism for key areas and manage the technical service providers.

(5) Coordinate the operation and management of public buildings, urban blocks, underground spaces, public venues and public service facilities in key areas.

(6) Conduct external liaison and brand promotion for key areas. Implement industrial policies, promote industrial development, and facilitate investment attraction for key areas in coordination with the industrial departments, to drive industrial agglomeration.

(7) Advance the demolition planning, on-site implementation and policy publicity of shantytown renovation projects, and complete the follow-up work of ongoing district-wide renovation projects.

(8) Undertake other tasks assigned by the CPC Futian District Committee and the Futian District People's Government.
