Biography

Li Zhidong, a male of Han ethnicity and a member of the CPC, was born in September 1978. He holds a postgraduate degree and a Ph.D. in management.

Responsibilities

Mr Li assists Zhou Jiangtao in managing the day-to-day affairs of the Futian District People’s Government. He is also responsible for overseeing the work of Futian’s development and reform bureau (Futian District National Defense Mobilization Office <civil air defense office>), finance bureau (State-owned assets supervision and administration bureau, collective assets management bureau), emergency management bureau, statistics bureau and State treasury payment center. He also assists in the administration of the audit bureau. He maintains liaison with the fire-fighting and rescue battalion and the Futian offices for taxation, power supply and meteorological services.
