The Shenzhen Metro is the rapid transit system for the city of Shenzhen in Guangdong Province, China. As of August 2024, the system consists of 16 separate lines, with 21 lines and sections more under construction.

The system opened on December 28, 2004, making Shenzhen the sixth city on the Chinese mainland to have a subway after Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Wuhan. The Shenzhen Metro currently has 16 lines, 306 stations, and 555.568 kilometers (345.21 miles) of total railway in operation.

Line 1 (Luobao Line): Luohu - Airport East

Line 2 (Shekou Line): Chiwan - Liantang

Line 3 (Longgang Line): Futian Bonded Area - Shuanglong

Line 4 (Longhua Line): Futian Checkpoint - Niuhu

Line 5 (Huanzhong Line): Qianhaiwan - Huangbeiling

Line 6: main line: Science Museum - Songgang

            spur line: Guangming Station - Shenzhen University of Advanced Technology Station

Line 7 (Xili Line): Xili Lake - Tai'an

Line 8 (Yantian Line): Wutong Mountain South - Yantian Rd

Line 9 (Meilin Line): Qianwan - Wenjin

Line 10: Futian Checkpoint - Shuangyong Street

Line 11 (Airport Line): Bitou - Futian

Line 12 Zuopaotai East - Waterlands Resort East

Line 14 Gangxia North - Shatian 

Line 16 Universiade in Longgang - Tianxin in Pingshan

Line 20 Airport North -  Convention and Exhibition Town
