On Friday, the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra (SZSO) will play pieces by Lalo, Ravel and Rimsky-Korsakov at a concert. During the weekend, music fans will have a rare chance to enjoy all six of Tchaikovsky’s symphonies presented by the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra from Russia, with Vladimir Fedoseyev and Denis Lotoev wielding the baton. Also on Saturday, Chinese pianist Duan Zhaoxu will give a recital of pieces composed or re-arranged by Liszt. And on Sunday night, four string musicians from the SZSO will play quartet pieces by Mendelssohn and Haydn.

SZSO symphonies: 8 p.m., Sept. 22

Tchaikovsky symphonies: 8 p.m., Sept. 23-24 (Sept. 24 also at 3:30 p.m.)

Piano: 7:30 p.m., Sept. 23

String quartet: 7:30 p.m., Sept. 24
