Shenzhen will come alive with the highly anticipated “Shenzhen Grand Parade,” set to take place along the vibrant Festival Avenue in Futian District on May 1. Stretching about 1.6 kilometers, the event promises to showcase the beauty and diversity of cultures from around the globe, celebrating the fusion of tradition and modernity in one of China’s most innovative cities.
The parade will feature a series of captivating performances and engaging activities, including dynamic dance shows and interactive fashion showcases, all designed to highlight the youthful energy and vitality of this stylish metropolis.

Audience members can look forward to a spectacular lineup of artistic performances from around the globe, paired with imaginative and passionate installations, creating an international audiovisual feast.
The parade will unfold in three major chapters, each celebrating a different facet of Shenzhen’s vibrant identity.
At the “City of Technology and Innovation” section, audiences can expect thrilling technical displays featuring groundbreaking robots performing flips, cutting-edge automobiles that push the limits of innovation, and a cyberpunk atmosphere that will rewrite the possibilities of technology.
At the “Cultural Charm of Shenzhen” section, people can appreciate a diversity of cultural displays from various districts in Shenzhen, including intangible cultural heritage performances.
The “One World, One Family” section will celebrate the rich diversity of the Greater Bay Area, featuring traditional dragon and lion dances, as well as artistic expressions from various countries, designed to ignite passion in every viewer.
During the parade, attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite teams to determine this year’s MVP of the Grand Parade. A “Shenzhen Gentleman”/ “Shenzhen Lady” selection will also be hosted among participants, and winners will receive cash prizes and gifts.
