To accommodate the Spring Festival travel rush, Shenzhen Metro and MTR Shenzhen will extend train service across the network under a “11+8+7” plan, ensuring smoother journeys during one of the busiest travel seasons of the year.

What is the '11+8+7' plan?

📌 Special peak (Feb. 21-23):

From Feb. 21 to 23, a special service boost will be in effect: Lines 4, 5, and 6 will operate additional late-night trains. On these days, the last trains from Shenzhen North Station may depart as late as 2:15 a.m.

🟧 Regular holiday period (Feb. 10, Feb. 15-20)

On these mid-holiday dates, only Line 4 will receive a service extension, with trains running 30 minutes later than normal. This adjustment ensures that key interchange points — such as Shenzhen North Station and Futian Checkpoint — will continue to offer service until at least midnight.
