If you missed the Bao’an International Accordion Festival held earlier this week in Xixiang, Bao’an District, here is a free accordion concert organized by Shenzhen University associate professor Wang Lulu and her students at Shenzhen Concert Hall on Saturday afternoon.
The concert’s program covers different styles, including Scarlatti’s “Sonata in G Major,” Haydn’s “Sonata in D Major,” Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker Overture,” Piazzolla’s “Libertango” and Semionov’s “Suite of Bulgaria.”
Wang obtained a doctorate degree from University of Music Wurzburg in Germany. She won the first prize of the 45th International Accordion Competition in Klingenthal, Germany and the third prize of the 13th Arrasate International Accordion Competition in Spain.
