A group of industry-leading firms jointly signed an agreement to settle in Futian during the 2023 China Building Decoration Industry Development Forum and the China International Space Design Competition, held in Futian on September 7-8.

Currently, Futian has become the area with the highest concentration of leading firms in the national construction and decoration industry. 

This year, Futian will invest more than 2.5 billion yuan to support the development of the construction industry and property services industry.

Futian is the stronghold of China's construction, decoration and design industry and has a complete industry chain. 

Currently, Futian has 247 companies in the construction and decoration industry with scales above a certain level, more than 9,000 market entities in the construction, decoration and design industry and renowned Futian-based design firms with good fame. 

They are leading in specific fields, with notable innovative achievements and global business coverage.

To cultivate leading enterprises, develop headquarters economy, optimize industry structure and achieve stable and high-quality development goals for the construction and decoration industry, Futian has formulated several measures to support the development of the construction industry and property services industry.

"In the future, the district government will continue to provide services such as helping companies with exploring markets, raising money and other supportive measures. We will continuously update the policy system to support high-quality development of the construction decoration industry, with an expected investment of over 2.5 billion yuan throughout the year. Especially for the construction industry, we will expand policy coverage to the entire chain of enterprises including survey, design and construction. With greater sincerity, better policies, and improved services, we will assist the construction decoration industry in achieving high-quality development," said Li Zhidong, deputy district mayor of Futian.

The policy measures introduced in Futian are not only supportive to local construction decoration enterprises but also motivating and guiding the entire decoration industry. More local governments regard Futian as a model, guiding and motivating the decoration industry to rely on innovation and pursue high-quality development, said Wang Zhongqi, the president of the China Building Decoration Association.

The China International Space Design Competition is the highest honor in China's construction decoration design industry. In 2017, the China Building Decoration Industry Development Forum and the China International Space Design Competition were first held in Futian District, and since 2018, it has been permanently settled in Futian. 

Over the past seven years, this national-level event has gathered a large number of excellent design talents in Futian, accumulating tremendous strength for the high-quality development of the construction decoration design industry. 

More and more outstanding architects and construction decoration enterprises have emerged on this high-quality event platform, and they have been attracted to and gathered in Futian due to the continuous improvement of the business environment and industrial policies in the district. 

Currently, Futian has become the area with the highest concentration of leading enterprises in the national construction decoration industry.

During the event, the Futian district government and Zhejiang Yasha Curtain Wall Co., Jiangsu Huajian Construction Co., China Construction Third Engineering Bureau South China Co., Huagan City Construction Group Co. and China Construction Eighth Engineering Bureau South China Branch jointly signed an agreement for these enterprises to settle in Futian.
