The 2025 Shenzhen Youth (Children’s) Archery Championships and the 15th National Games Archery Test Event successfully concluded at the Shenzhen Sports Center in Futian District on July 12. 

As a key highlight of the full-process test events in Futian for the upcoming 15th National Games, the archery competition played a crucial role in fine-tuning preparations for the nationwide sporting extravaganza.

This test event closely simulated the official competition environment and served as a comprehensive assessment of Futian’s capability to host a major national sporting event. 

The competition was overseen by Li Xinping, deputy director of the Archery Department at the Shooting and Archery Administration Center under the General Administration of Sport of China, who served as competition director. National-level referee Lin Chaohai served as the chief referee. Additionally, professional adult archery teams were invited to participate in the full-process field test.

Li said, “I am honored to take part in this event. The entire competition operated as smoothly as flowing clouds. I’m particularly impressed by the extensive use of high-tech elements, which brought a fresh experience. The Futian competition zone has successfully completed a full-element, full-process test event, delivering a very satisfying preview of the upcoming official competition.”

This test event functioned as a practical rehearsal for Futian District’s role in co-hosting the country’s highest-level comprehensive sporting event. It marked a critical step forward in ensuring service excellence for the 15th National Games and represents the beginning of Futian’s efforts to establish itself as a benchmark competition zone.
