Launched in May 2025 on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the establishment of Futian District, the logo and slogan solicitation campaign received 2,725 entries from 22 countries and regions. Participants ranged from seasoned design professionals to primary and middle school students.

Following extensive public voting and multiple rounds of professional review, a submission by SHIDEA from Shanghai stood out from five finalist works to win the Golden Brush Award and was selected as Futian’s official logo.
Entitled “Blessings Awaken the City of Goodness·Brilliance Lights up Futian,” the logo takes the shape of the Chinese character “fu” (福) from “Futian” as its core visual element, and features a gradient design highlighting the four main colors of red, gold, blue, and green.

With red standing for Futian’s mission as Shenzhen’s core district, gold for its role as the city’s financial CBD, blue for its infinite potential for technological innovation, and green for a liveable environment, the logo encapsulates Futian’s 35 years development and showcases its multi-faceted charm.
The official slogan, “futian·fortune·future,” echoes the auspicious message of the Chinese characters “Futian” (福田) while underscoring the district’s identity as “a land of fortune and a district of the future.”
In the future, the logo and slogan will be widely used in different occasions, serving as a visual gateway and calling card for Futian to present itself to the world.
Meanwhile, the four other logo design that made it to the finalist round, each infused with distinctive artistic ingenuity, will be adopted by Futian’s foreign affairs bureau, civil affairs bureau, science, technology, industry and information technology bureau, and women’s federation, respectively.
The ceremony also marked the opening of Antuoshan Public Cultural Center, a new cultural landmark in the city. Conveniently located in Futian’s Antuoshan area, the center features a 1,000-seat theater, a 500-seat concert hall, four 120-seat black box theaters and supporting facilities.
