Futian Art Museum was put into service on Friday with the opening of two exhibitions, as reported by Shenzhen Special Zone Daily.

The museum is a government-funded non-commercial cultural venue that features exhibitions, art collections, research, exchanges and public art education.

In addition to exhibitions of local artworks, the museum will hold international and national exhibitions and exchange activities with domestic and overseas art institutions. Special exhibition rooms will also be set up to display works of traditional Chinese art and works by international artists.

The two exhibitions in the museum are currently open to the public.
