Shenzhen reported six new locally transmitted confirmed COVID-19 cases and an asymptomatic patient yesterday.

Four of the new confirmed cases and the asymptomatic patient were found among close contacts of a local infection reported in Luohu District on Feb. 15, while the other two new cases were detected during nucleic acid screenings among key risk groups.

One of the confirmed patient detected during routine screenings works and lives in Bantian Subdistrict, while the other one works and lives in Sungang Subdistrict, Luohu District.

Preliminary investigations showed that the whereabouts of the new COVID-19 cases mainly involved the No. 7 carriage of Train D7426 from Shenzhen North Railway Station to Puning on Feb. 17, the No. 2 carriage of Train D667 from Puning to Shenzhen North Railway Station on Feb. 18, the Shenzhen North Metro Station of Line 6, Sungang Metro Station of Line 7, the Tianxincun outlet of Pupu supermarket and Tongmanfen Children's clothing wholesale market in Sungang Subdistrict, Luohu, Mingyinghong Global Supply Chain (Shenzhen) Co. Ltd. in Gaoshi Shicai Logistics Park, Meiyiduo supermarket, Hulian E-Time Building and Zhengyuantang Drug Store in Bantian Subdistrict, Longgang, Building 6 of Xiandai International Logistics Park and Jianxing fast-food restaurant in Fuyong Subdistrict, Bao'an District, the operation center of Aohua International Bao'an Warehouse in Fuhai Subdistrict, Bao'an, and Jinshuichao SPA and Shuishijie SPA in Minzhi Subdistrict, Longhua District.
