Medical workers donate blood at Shenzhen No. 2 People’s Hospital in Futian District yesterday during a launch ceremony that was held to kick off the Seventh Shenzhen Medical Workers Blood Donation Month. Nearly 3,000 doctors and nurses in the city donated 1.03 million milliliters of blood in last year’s campaign.
