American tourists visit Shenzhen Museum on Friday, International Museum Day (IMD), in Futian District. IMD was initiated May 18, 1977, with the aim of promoting the development of museums. A series of activities, including an exhibition of Shenzhen’s plants, were held for the visitors. Shenzhen Museum has a group of Little Docents under its volunteer program to guide visitors around the museum.
