“Futian and Gangnam are mutually complementary in industry and culture. We have a lot in common, which means an infinite prospect of cooperation,” Wu said at a meeting with Gangnam officials.
Located south of South Korea’s Han River, Gangnam is an important and highly developed commercial area in Seoul. It is home to clusters of multinational companies, companies in the fashion industry and various bastions of South Korean culture.
Home to more than 568,867 residents, Gangnam covers an area of 39.55 square kilometers and has 96 parks, 75 schools and 364 welfare organizations.
